New Players¶
1. Claim your freebies¶
Talk to the Kafra Employee in Prontera (prontera 145, 197) and pick Claim Freebies.
Each reward can be claimed once per account and once per computer.
- A random poring costume (top) and a random costume garment, account bound
- 1,000,000 Zeny
- 7 days of VIP
- 2× +9 Weapon Refine Ticket #6228, 5× +9 Armor Refine Ticket #6232
- 3× Platinum Coin #30005, 100× Bronze Coin #30002
- Episode skip tickets: Episode 16 Clear Ticket #1000282, Episode 17 Clear Ticket #1000287, Episode 18 Clear Ticket #1000288
Pick one job (Knight, Crusader, Hunter, Wizard, Sage, Blacksmith, Alchemist, Rogue or Monk) and receive a full starter set, all account bound: a +12 enchanted weapon, +11 enchanted armor, garment and shoes, and two enchanted accessories. You can only claim one job's set.
A +10 Limit Break Shadow Earring #1270127 and a +10 Limit Break Shadow Pendant #1270128.
2. Kafra services¶
The Prontera Kafra (prontera 145, 197) also offers:

| VIP Storage | A second storage. Non-VIP players can still take items out, but not put them in. |
| Reset Skill/Stats | 5,000 Zeny for skills or stats, 9,000 Zeny for both. No limit. |
| Platinum Skill | Gives the quest skills of your job for free. |
| Renter | Gives you a cart, falcon, warg, Peco/Dragon or Mado depending on your job. |
| Promotional Code | Redeem promo codes from events and social media. |
3. Heal and buff for free¶
Hera (prontera 153, 193) heals you to full and gives Increase AGI and Blessing for 5 minutes.
You can also just type a chat message containing heal near her, and she answers questions about the server:

VIP players get a much bigger package: status cures, AP, food buffs, Assumptio, Impositio,
Suffragium, Sacrament and your class Spirit, lasting 30 minutes.
Every other town has a standard Healer NPC as well.
4. Go to the Quest Room¶
The Quest Area NPC (prontera 149, 194) warps you to moc_para01, where most custom NPCs are.
Good first stops:
- Paradise Merchant for starter weapons and armor, paid in Bronze Coin #30002
- Hunting Missions to earn Mission Points and coins
- Quest Shop to see what your coins can buy
5. Skip the episode quests¶
If you are a 3rd class or higher, the Episode Skip NPC completes Episodes 16 to 20 for you with a skip ticket. The freebies include the tickets for 16, 17 and 18.
6. Test your damage¶
The Dummy Punching Bags in south-east Prontera (around 220, 70) let you test your damage.
Type @dummy to warp straight to them.
