Ghost Palace¶

Guide¶

Ghost Palace replays the fall of Sakray, the royal guard who became bound to the Magic Sword Tartanos. You move through five floors of a haunted palace and clear waves of cursed monsters on each one. At the end you can trade your Gray Shard #6672 to the King's ghost for Thanos weapons and Gray armor.

Entering¶

Level: 120 or higher.
Party: you must be in a party. The party leader talks to the Unpleasant Royal Guard at /navi dali02 43/129 and agrees to help, which creates the instance.
Entrance: the Interdimensional Device next to him at /navi dali02 40/134.
Cooldown: entering gives you the Cursed Swordman quest. The cooldown does not run for a set number of hours: it ends at the next 04:00 server time. When it has ended, talk to the Royal Guard or the device once to clear the quest, then you can go in again.

Walkthrough¶

Each floor opens once its waves are cleared. A yellow announcement says when the next floor's passage is open. On some waves the next one starts when only one monster is left, so you do not always have to kill the last one.

1st floor: the throne room

Talk to the King at the entrance. When his dialogue ends, monsters attack the castle.
Clear three waves of Cursed Soldier #2948 and Cursed Sentinel #2949.
The passage to the 2nd floor opens at the top of the room.

2nd floor: the princess's chamber

Talk to the Lurid Royal Guard next to Princess Tiara.
Clear three waves of Broken Mind #2950, Floating Word #2951 and Like Love #2952.
The passage to the 3rd floor opens.

3rd floor: the trap

Talk to the King, who accuses the guard of treason. A short scene with Tartanos follows.
Kill the first two waves of Cursed Memory #2953, Colorless Vow #2954 and Old Friendship #2955.
The passage to the 4th floor opens. At the same moment about 30 more of these monsters spawn all over the floor. You do not need to kill them: head for the 4th floor portal at 1@spa 54/28.

4th floor: the massacre

Clear two waves of Sweet Slaughter #2956 and Cursed Sentinel #2949.
Talk to the Lurid Royal Guard among the corpses of the King and his soldiers.
The Visiting Prince turns into Torturous Redeemer #2959, which spawns with one more Sweet Slaughter #2956. Kill both and the passage to the 5th floor opens. The leftover monsters on the 3rd floor are removed.

5th floor: Tiara

Talk to Princess Tiara.
Clear three waves of Forgotten Name #2957, Colorless Vow #2954 and Fatal Days #2958.
After the last wave a short cutscene plays, then Sakray appears. Talk to him.
When the voices stop (about 30 seconds), the Way out of Palace portal and the King (the exchange NPC) appear near 1@spa 210/28.

Rewards¶

Each player gets their reward when they walk into the Way out of Palace portal, which takes them back to dali02.

Tip

Talk to the King before you step into the exit portal. He only stands inside the instance, so this is your only chance to trade shards for gear.
