Bagot Laboratory

Guide

Bagot Laboratory is a one-time story instance from the Episode 19 main quest (the Intermittent difference step). Bagot uses Juncea as a vessel, and you have to defeat her in his laboratory to move the story on. There is no cooldown and no item reward: the reward is story progress.

Entering

  • Requirement: you must be on the Intermittent difference step of the Episode 19 main story. At that point Juncea appears at /navi jor_dun03 57/63. Talk to her once to update the quest.
  • Party: you must be in a party, and only the party leader can talk to Juncea. The leader picks Prepare to enter Bagot Laboratory and then Enter Bagot Laboratory.
  • Time limit: the instance lasts 1 hour and closes after 5 minutes with nobody inside.

Warning

Juncea refuses to talk to anyone who is not the party leader, so only the leader can enter through her. Each character has to do this step as party leader (a party of one works).

Walkthrough

  1. As soon as the party leader arrives, Juncea appears in the middle of the lab at 1@jorlab 58/67.
  2. Talk to her twice. On the second talk she flickers between forms, then turns into Simulation Juncea #21532.
  3. Defeat Simulation Juncea.
  4. Talk to the fallen Juncea. Bagot comments on the result, your main quest moves to the next step, and you are sent to icecastle.

Tip

After you finish the Episode 19 main story, the same lab can be fought again as the daily Simulation Battle from Arolong at /navi jor_nest 66/260.
