High Priest's Villa¶

Guide¶

The High Priest's Villa is a one-time story instance from the Episode 18 main quest. With Miriam and the guide Ira you search the villa of Yus Amal, find the keys to its locked rooms, beat Schulang the Traitor, and finally face the Twisted God. Clearing it advances the main quest; there is no item reward. The repeatable version is Villa of Deception.

Entering¶

Quest: only at the matching step of the Episode 18 main quest. Ira appears at /navi oz_dun01 219/117 when you reach it.
Party: the party leader picks Apply for 'High Priest's Villa'; then everyone picks Enter.
Cooldown: none.
Time limit: 1 hour.

Most steps inside only react to the party leader.

Walkthrough¶

1. Ground floor

The party leader talks to Miriam at the entrance and listens to her and Ira. Talk to her again: she goes to question one employee and asks you to find another.
Talk to the Villa Employee to the west and ask about Amal. Then return to Miriam.
Two disguised Heart Hunter #21312 attack. Kill them.
Back at the entrance, the party leader talks to Miriam again. 12 more Heart Hunters attack along the hall. When they are dead Miriam walks north up the central stairs; follow her and talk to her at the top.

2. The keys

Miriam heads east and 11 Heart Hunters appear along the west corridor. Kill them all to find the Silver Key at the north end of the corridor.
Use the Silver Key on the Locked Door on the west side. Kill the 3 Heart Hunters in the room, then pick up the Gold Key.
Talk to Miriam in the east wing, then talk to the Villa Employees in the east room.
Open the Locked Door to the central room with the key. 11 Heart Hunters spawn around it; kill them all.

3. The garden

Click both Brilliant Articles on either side of the ornate door to the north, then go through the door.
Five devices are spread across the garden. Only one of them, chosen at random, opens the way: use them (5 seconds each) until the right one works.
Go through the Elegant Door to the north.

4. Schulang

The party leader talks to Schulang. He attacks together with two Heart Hunters: kill Schulang #21314 and both guards. The way into the last room opens.

5. The Twisted God

The party leader talks to Yus Amal. After the revelation, Twisted God Freyja #21315 appears together with a resurrected Schulang, who immediately drops Cane of Evil Eye on four spots south of the throne, where you are standing. Only the Twisted God has to die; the resurrected Schulang disappears with it.

Rewards¶

Talk to Miriam in the boss room afterwards to advance the Episode 18 main quest. The exit NPC next to her takes you back to oz_dun01.
